Are Older Adults and Caregivers Online?

Organizations and businesses who serve older adults and caregivers should no longer wonder if their market is online. According to PEW Internet, 22% of Americans 65 or older have Internet access, and 58% of Americans 50-64 use the Internet. Both older adults and caregivers are using the Internet for communication and to search for information. To read the complete report visit the PEW Internet website.
Where are they? According to the Wall Street Journal, Google is getting 62% of all search traffic in the US, followed by Yahoo at 20% and Microsoft at 9%. (Microsoft Strikes Web-Search Deal with H-P, Tuesday June 3, 2008)
